From my Covid novel,  Chateaux de Sucre:

and he wondered if there were as many words for grief as some Inuits are said to have for snow… qanik: snow in the air; nap’pap: snow seen in a dream; luna’aput: snow falling directly from the surface of the moon… and he thought there were at least as many.

Danté peered up at the sky, wondering what the three of them, smeared with mud, looked like to their lost loved ones above: two weeping girls and himself, his own eyes shining, … their tears mega’aput: deep as twenty whales.
